In this project I designed and implemented audio into a UE4 game. The level was created for the Game Audio Course, by one of the teachers at Musikhögskolan Piteå.
Carola, Järvsö

Concert
Carola celebrated her four-decades as an artist with a tour across Sweden. In Järvsö, I had the privilege of providing the house speakers (PA) and light fixtures. I oversaw the setup, acting as the "house technician" for lighting, tending to the diverse needs of the touring crew and solving any problems that occured.

SCOPES is a three-day-long festival hosted by Porsche, dedicated to celebrating local pioneers in the realms of art, design, music, and technology. I worked at this event during my internship, where my roles included serving as a runner and assisting as a Front of House (FoH) engineer at one of the festivals stages.

Recording, Editing & Mixing
During my final year at university, an exciting recording project started in anticipation of a visit from producer Anders Wollbeck. Musicians in their third year of the "Rock Program" composed their own music for this project. The recording took place at Musikhögskolan Piteå and was carried out by both myself and Linus Sjöholm. Subsequently, I took on the responsibility of editing the recordings, while Sjöholm and I collaborated once again for the final mixing stage at Studio Gröndahl.

Bachelor's Thesis
My Bachelor's thesis investigates whether True Peak values exceeding 0 dBTP cause auditory distortion. This topic has sparked debates among mastering engineers, and my curiosity was piqued when I discovered the scarcity of existing studies addressing this issue. Within this thesis, I explain multiple principles within digital audio processing.

Image Sound Design
Sound has the ability to narrate a story, one interesting medium for this is through designing sound for an image. This shares a resemblance with traditional Radio Plays, yet they rely solely on their auditory elements to convey the narrative. The true achievement of such designs lies in their capacity to evoke mental imagery even without visual aid. In the creation of this particular sound design, inspiration was drawn from the games Skyrim, New World, and Valheim.

Beyond Dystopia, a Swiss band, was in the midst of recording their album at Studio Gröndahl during my internship. During this period, I had the privilege of actively participating in the recording and production stages, specifically on guitars, lead instruments, vocals, and various additional sound effects.

Live Studio Recording
Crowne, a Swedish supergroup composed of members from renowned bands Europe, The Poodle, H.E.A.T, and Art of Nation, recorded a live session at Studio Gröndahl during my internship. I was fortunate enough to actively participate in every phase of this recording process.

At Trästockfestivalen in Skellefteå, my colleagues and I provided sound systems, lighting, and backline equipment for multiple stages. I also served as a house audio engineer on one of the smaller stages, working as a Front of House (FoH) engineer for various artists and assisting touring FoH engineers when present.
